Divulgamos um resumo e links para os documentos dos 4 anos de trabalho do Working Group on Schools da Comissão Europeia, em que participámos através da EFEE - European Federation of Education Employers (Federação Europeia dos Empregadores na Educação).

Embora a educação seja competência de cada Estado Membro, é importante irmos acompanhando e participando no que se vai debatendo e produzindo na Europa nesta área.

Conhecer o que os nossos parceiros europeus pensam sobre educação ajuda a ganhar perspetiva; perceber que muitos dos nossos problemas não são apenas nossos; e que não existem soluções mágicas para os mesmos.

1. Pathways to School Success: Policy action brief series

A series of nine policy briefs distilling key findings on some of our priority topics in a short format. Designed for educational authorities, teachers, school leaders, teacher educators, and other education professionals, they offer guidance and practice examples on specific themes which are crucial for improving academic achievements and wellbeing at school: 

   • Whole-school and whole-system approaches to school success

   • Early identification of learner needs

   • Pedagogical approaches for inclusion

   • Social and emotional learning

   • Nurturing educational excellence

   • Local governance for inclusion

   • Authentic learner engagement

   • Key role of parents

   • A systemic approach to teacher wellbeing

2. Final activity report

The final report offers a summary of lessons learnt, with considerations on persisting challenges which continue to require attention in the field of education policy: Pathways to School Success - key conditions and considerations
